Sharon maintains a studio in her home near Cloverdale California where she sculpts in clay and paints in oils, pastel and watercolor. Her work has been exhibited locally since 1984 at the Italian Swiss Colony Winery, Costeux French Bakery, Rochioli Winery, Cloverdale Regional Library and Back Burner Gallery. In addition, she operates an art consulting business, specializing in the selection, acquisitions, hanging and set-up of art for Sonoma County homes, wineries and businesses.
Her activities in the local art scene include Art Committee board memeber for Cloverdale Regional Library, hanging committee for the Annual Statewide Art Show, fundraising for St. John's School at Villa Chanticleer, co-chairman and chairman for the Annual Statewide Art Show, president of the Santa Rosa Art Guild.
Sharon has been offering clay sculpture classes and art classes in water color, drawing and pastel for adults and children through local schools and galleries since 1985. Her professional affiliations include Santa Rosa Round Table, Santa Rosa Art Guild, National League of American Pen Women, Friday Night Salon at California Museum of Art (Santa Rosa), and the Cultural Arts Council of Sonoma County.
Sharon received her art education at Barat College, Lake Forest, Illinois, and at Camden Art Center in London England. She furthered her education while living in Southern France, England and California.
